Self-made, rags-to-riches millionaires Jay Kubassek and Aaron Parkinson (photo) started this one-of-a-kind direct sales company with the purpose of eliminating the human variable from the marketing equation and giving new entrepreneurs the same chance to turn a profit as the more seasoned ones. The two friends are now on a mission to create 100 millionaires by 2012.
My husband and I drove from Los Angeles to Phoenix to attend the training, and from the moment we turned into the driveway of the gorgeous Arizona Grand Resort, we were completely blown away.
Every room at the resort is an amazing suite, and a one-night's-stay was included in the price of our tickets. On the day of the conference, breakfast and lunch (also included) were served on the shaded patio outside. Our comfort was their priority, no doubt about it!
Inside the conference room no preference was given with regards to seating. It was first come first served, and the kind of pecking order you often see at other companies' events did not exist here. Even the Millionaire Mastermind Group (MMG) had to compete for seats alongside everyone else!
Jay and Aaron have often made a point of the fact that CCPro is a level playing field, and this certainly backed that claim.
Among the speakers were sought-after success coach Jeffery Combs, Google Adwords expert Cherie Yvette of “The Urban Cowgirl”, Web 2.0 master marketer Howie Schwartz, and last but not least Jimmy Davis and Dennis Karganilla of “MLM Goldmine” who shared with the audience the exact techniques that they recently used to make $2 million with ZERO advertising costs!
Needless to say, we walked away with some extremely valuable marketing tools!
There was excitement without the hype. There was momentum but no stress. And above all there was content. Aaron Parkinson made a joke about this during his opening remarks: "Imagine that - a network marketing event that actually teaches you how to market!" Sad but true: that’s something which isn't easy to come by these days.
At lunch, everyone sat together, marketing mavericks and newbies alike. As it happened, Aaron and his wife Liz joined my husband and me at our table, and we chatted over our food. It was the first time we had met either one of them, and it was a real pleasure.
Had I ever paid attention to any of the negative stuff that has been written about these guys and their company (‘curiously’ enough, always put out there by their competitors), I sure wouldn't have after this!
"We consider you our friends. Please consider us yours", Jay Kubassek said in his closing remarks. It was clear that he meant it, that in spite of his tremendous success, he considers himself to be no different than the rest of us.
As they say, the proof is in the pudding: these guys are the real deal...!
